Abstract
Sawi adalah salah satu jenis tanaman sayuran yang dapat dikonsumsi pada bagian daunnya dan bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Jumlah produksi sawi pada tahun 2018 sebesar 635.990,00 ton dan terus mengalami kenaikan produksi hingga tahun 2020 sebanyak 667.473,00 ton (Badan Pusat Statistik, 2021), Sehingga sangat berpotensi untuk terus dikembangkan di Indonesia. Salah satu upaya yang harus dilakukan oleh petani dalam peningkatan hasil sawi hijau adalah pemupukan. Tanaman sawi hijau memerlukan unsur hara yang cukup dan tersedia bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan untuk menghasilkan hasil yang maksimal. Metode aplikasi pupuk larik pemupukan dilakukan dengan cara menaburkan pupuk di antara barisan tanaman. Pupuk diletakkan di antara larikan tanaman dengan jarak 5 cm dari batang tanaman dan kemudian ditutup atau tidak ditutup. Disebar pupuk ditaburkan di antara lingkaran tanaman dengan jarak 5 cm dari batang tanaman dan ditutup. Cara ini dapat dilakukan apabila jarak tanaman tidak rapat, kesuburan tanah rendah dan perkembangan akar tanaman yang sedikit. Tugal caranya di samping tanaman dibuat lubang sedalam kurang lebih 5-10 cm, kemudian pupuk dimasukkan ke dalam lubang tersebut, setelah itu ditutup dengan tanah atau tidak ditutup. Aplikasi pupuk secara tugal dapat dilakukan apabila jarak tanam cukup lebar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Universitas Sunan Bonang Tuban yang dilakukan selama 40 hari, dirancang dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Terdapat 5 perlakuan metode aplikasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain : (P1 = Disebar) (P2 = Larikan dan ditutup) (P3 = Larikan dan tidak ditutup) (P4 = Ditugal dan ditutup) (P5 = Ditugal dan tidak ditutup). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi yang terbaik didapatkan pada metode aplikasi (P2) larikan dan ditutup yang menghasilkan produksi tanaman sawi sebesar 144,24 gram.
Mustard is a type of vegetable plant that can be consumed with its leaves and has high economic value. One effort that must be done by farmers to increase the yield of mustard plants is fertilization. Green mustard plants require sufficient and available nutrients for their growth and development to produce maximum results. How to Apply Fertilizer Fertilization arrangements are made by sprinkling fertilizer between rows of plants. Fertilizer is placed between rows of plants with a distance of 5 cm from the plant stems and then covered or not covered. Spread the sown fertilizer between the crop circles at a distance of 5 cm from the plant stems and cover them. This method can be done if the spacing is not tight, soil fertility is low and plant root development is minimal. The trick is to make a hole on the side of the plant as deep as 5-10 cm, then put the fertilizer into the hole, after which it is covered with soil or not covered. Giving fertilizer can be done in tugal if the spacing is wide enough. This research was conducted in the experimental field of the University of Sunan Bonang Tuban which was carried out for 40 days, designed in a randomized block design and repeated 5 times. There are 5 treatment application methods used in this study, including: (P1 = Scatter) (P2 = Run and close) (P3 = Run and don't close) (P4 = Shoot and close) (P5 = Shoot and don't close) close) close) close) close) close) close) . The results showed that the best growth and yield of mustard plants were obtained by the closed and array application method (P2) which resulted in a production of 144.24 grams of mustard plants.
