Abstract
Sawi hijau merupakan salah satu tanaman sayur yang paling banyak dipasarkan dan digemari oleh masyarakat karena memiliki prospek, potensi, dan gizi yang cukup tinggi. Sawi (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan kelompok sayuran semusim yang dimanfaatkan daunnya sebagai makanan, baik segar maupun olahan. Sawi memiliki beberapa spesies Brassica, seperti Brassica juncea dan Brassica nigra. Permintaan masyarakat terhadap sawi hijau semakin lama semakin meningkat. Mengingat bahwa kebutuhan akan sawi semakin meningkat, maka diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi sawi yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Salah satunya adalah menggunakan bio-slurry untuk menambah nutrisi tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis optimum pupuk bio-slurry terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sunan Bonang Tuban, Kecamatan Tuban, Kabupaten Tuban pada bulan Maret-Mei 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 28 hari yang dirancang dengan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) secara sederhana dan diulang sebanyak 6 kali. Terdapat 4 perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dosis pupuk bio-slurry. Dosis tersebut antara lain : (P1 = 0 gram/polybag) (P2 = 25 g/polybag) (P3 = 50 g/polybag) (P4 = 75 g/polybag). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis optimum pemberian pupuk bio- slurry pada tanaman sawi adalah 50 g/polybag (P3).
Mustard greens are one of the most widely marketed vegetable crops and are popular with the public because they have high prospects, potential and nutrition. Mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) is a group of seasonal vegetables whose leaves are used as food, both fresh and processed. Mustard greens have several Brassica species, such as Brassica juncea and Brassica nigra. Public demand for mustard greens is increasing. Considering that the need for mustard greens is increasing, efforts are needed to increase the production of mustard greens which are more environmentally friendly. One of them is using bio-slurry to add nutrients to mustard plants. This study aims to obtain the optimum dose of bio- slurry fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard plants. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sunan Bonang University, Tuban, Tuban District, from March to May 2022. This research was conducted for 28 days, designed using a simple Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and repeated 6 times. There were 4 treatments used in this study, namely the dose of bio-slurry fertilizer. These doses include: (P1 = 0 gram/polybag) (P2 = 25 g/polybag) (P3 = 50 g/polybag) (P4 = 75 g/polybag). The results showed that the optimum dose of bio-slurry fertilizer for mustard plants was 50 g/polybag (P3).
